The Meán Fidil : this is the first of a new range of violin. The concept has been knocking around in my head for nearly two decades, influenced by the Mirecourt and Mittenwald violins of the 1800's, it is a departure from the traditional Cremonese method of building. Designed to be made in a cottage industry system. It has no purfling and the scroll has one turn less. This particular one I made in 2020
